So…I lost my favorite therapist as she moved north to join her family. Decided to stick with this spa as it was clean and convenient. The next therapist was okay but the next time I went she wasn’t available. I was fortunate to get Helen. I’ve been with her every week since. Tall strong mature woman giving a firm all business massage. I hope she doesn’t leave.

Schedule with them by phone for Ivy. Had seen her before. After I’m under the draping cloth Ivy enters and begins the warmup massage. Seemed to last forever - especially in one spot - compared to other places. Almost like she was just buying time. Then I hear her talking and thought she was talking to me. I turned to look and she’s got her phone on the table and an AirPod in her right ear while she’s having a conversation in Mandarin. And briefly at times her massage would go to using one hand while she managed phone calls or something. Then she placed the phone on the massage table near my head where I placed my hands at one point during the massage. I felt the phone inadvertently with my right hand. I wanted to grab it and throw it on the floor. Overall the massage was ok but mostly random rubbing without a plan. And the lack of professionalism using a phone during someone’s massage when they’re paying over $100 for a service is completely unacceptable.
This spa is truly a gem in South Austin. The serene ambiance, accompanied by gentle, soothing music, creates the perfect environment for relaxation. The front desk staff are unfailingly courteous and attentive, making every guest feel welcome — even walk-ins. I left feeling thoroughly rejuvenated, as though both body and mind had been renewed. Without hesitation, I look forward to returning.
